Spectrum customers will soon see higher bills. The company has announced that it will increase its fees starting with the next billing cycle. Internet increases by $5 per month. The first legal cannabis dispensary in western New York, owned by a man with a marijuana record, is now open for business. Dunk 716 welcomed customers for the first time this week thanks to the Cannabis Control Board’s vote to move forward with regulations suspending the first phase of retail permits for marijuana convicts in March 2022. Artist Ali Radzik was chosen to be one of the painters to paint Amherst’s traffic lights this summer. Ali and several other artists were selected by the City of Amherst Public Places Arts and Culture Commission. They started his Amherst Painted Boxes initiative in 2019 and since then 35-40 traffic boxes have been painted by local artists. See full text here.
