In true Milanese style, Nomad Girl is an all-day café and ristorante in the heart of Nomad. Nomad is known as a hotbed of luxury condominiums, where a growing number of luxury hotels are based. Nomad Girl is located in the new heart of Nomad Square With a concentration of trendy bars, lounges and restaurants, the area is set as a destination to meet friends and enjoy traditional Italian cuisine. The restaurant was conceived by hospitality veterans Alex Cesaria and Rich Simeone, who met in Aspen, Colorado.
Born in Milan, Italy, Alex Cesaria arrived in New York a few years ago after traveling around the world. First stepping into the art world, Alex owned and operated his UniX art galleries in Miami and New York. He opened his first restaurant, Il Piccolo Ristro, in Chelsea in 2017, attracting a wealthy clientele until the pandemic forced it to close. Having started his career as a lawyer, Rich Simeone has been in the industry for over 25 years and has over 30 casual and fine dining restaurants in Florida, California, Colorado and New York. This partnership combines the expertise of the two: Alex’s creativity and Rich’s ambition for discipline and scalability. Both want quality and consistency as part of their new brand.
Two creative nomad girls serve casual Italian cuisine with an emphasis on high quality organic ingredients. Several of the authentic Italian menus have been created through his collaboration with Chef Fernando Baez (formerly of Bottega Del Vino).
