The Dion Dawkins Foundation Hosts Community Day in Buffalo, NY
Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl offensive tackle Dion Dawkins is committed to supporting the Buffalo community. His Dion’s Dreamers Foundation and Trusted Nurse Staffing host 716 Community Day hosted by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in West Herr and West New York. The event is free and focuses on community building, empowering and supporting each other.
Attendees will enjoy entertainment including live music by DJ PNasty, Build-a-Bike workshops presented by Highmark Healthcare, and the Pacific Cycle (first-come, first-served basis). Bounce House Obstacle Course, Fat Bob’s BBQ, Mother Crackers Grill, Kitchen Food Truck, Cheese Chick Food Truck, What’s Pop In Gourmet Popcorn, Audrey’s Caribbean Cuisine , There are also a lot of free food such as bar bills.
Pre-registration to pick up groceries/hygiene/hot meals is closed, but the foundation will have 250 walk-up tickets available at the entrance of the event (groceries/hygiene/hot meals will be available on a case-by-case basis). We have Health & Wellness Community Partners on site. The event is free and open to the public.
