BUFFALO, NY — On Friday, the Cobblestone District came alive with music as Cobblestone Live, and the area was filled with street vendors and food. However, the district did not allow such a lively appearance.
Lee Snodgrass, who has lived in Buffalo for 10 years, remembers coming to the area only for river mills or steel mills.

“Honestly, I don’t remember anything about when I first moved to the area, but they’ve done a good job of bringing people to the area and keeping people here. It made the biggest difference that we have been doing the activities here just to stay.”
Local leaders like Fillmore City Councilman Mitch Novakowski told 7 News that the new development of the restaurant and brewery is just the beginning of the project.
