BUFFALO, NY — Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins partners with Trusted Nurse Staffing to celebrate the annual 716 Community Day.
The Bills player was named a nominee for the 2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year for his outstanding service to the community through nonprofit Dion’s Dreamers.
The event will be held on Sunday, July 16th at MLK Park at 778 Best Street in Buffalo for all ages in the community.
Community Day is hosted by West Hell & Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Western New York State and focuses on community building, empowerment and mutual support within the Buffalo community.
There will be a variety of engaging activities and entertainment for children, as well as opportunities for parents to explore different tables and learn more about each organization’s mission to create positive change in the Buffalo community. increase.
The day will feature live music by DJ PNasty, Build-a-Bike workshops provided by Highmark Healthcare, and Pacific Cycle with helmets provided by Kaleida Health on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a bounce house obstacle course for those interested.
