Today, Goose announced that he will return to Boston for two nights on September 13th and 14th at the scenic Leeder Bank Pavilion. The dates will kick off the aforementioned Fall 2023 tour, starting on the East Coast and en route to the West Coast, with four already sold-out shows and festival appearances fixed along the way.
Before closing “Arcadia” at the Levitate Music and Arts Festival in Marshfield, Massachusetts last Saturday, keyboardist and guitarist Peter Anspach told fans about his performance in Boston in September. He said he is looking forward to new performances. The news was greeted with excitement and cheers by the crowd.
The dates celebrate Goose’s debut performance at an outdoor venue next to Boston Harbor. A special place for the band and three Berklee College of Music alumni, the city was last seen at a nearby venue during the quintet’s spring run in March when Goose’s energetic, free-flowing jams were played. It was when I played in Roadrunner.
“I’m so happy to be back in Boston,” said Ben Atkind, from Massachusetts. “This city has been a very important place to us over the years and we can’t wait to take the stage at such a legendary venue.”
With no plans to stop anytime soon, September’s activities will wrap up at Ohana Fest in Dana Point, California, and the group’s October gig will begin at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. The November tour will be another exciting debut for the band, who will be making their first ever global gig in Europe, with many of the shows already sold out.
Tickets for the Goose’s Leader Bank Pavilion show will be available first through a sit-down lottery from 12:00 PM ET on July 11th through 5:00 PM ET on July 12th. Advance tickets go on sale July 13 from 10:00 am ET to 10:00 pm ET, and general sales go on sale July 14 at 10:00 am ET.
