goose will return to Boston, Massachusetts on September 13th and 14th this year for two nights at the Leederbank Pavilion. Known as one of the city’s premier outdoor concert venues, the venue is located in a picturesque open-sided covered pavilion overlooking Boston Harbor.
The band, which recently hit the stage at the Levitate Music and Arts Festival in Marshfield, Massachusetts, has a storied history in Boston as three of its members attended Berklee College of Music. Despite this, Goose has headlined the city only three times in its nine-year history. The Boston Globe described it as “… mastering the art of gently rising rock jams, culminating in a musical pyrotechnic display… an offer.”[ing] One of the best musical exclamations in the industry,” the artists are thrilled to be returning to Beantown.
“I’m so happy to be back in Boston,” said drummer Ben Atkind, from Needham. “This city has been such an important place to us over the years and we can’t wait to take the stage at such a legendary venue.”
Tickets will initially be sold via a sit-down lottery, and the request period will run from Tuesday, July 11 at 12:00 PM ET through Wednesday, July 12 at 5:00 PM ET. Winners will be notified by 6:00 PM ET on July 12th. The venue pre-sale will be on Thursday, July 13th from 10am-10pm ET, followed by the general sale on Friday, July 14th at 10am ET. General admission and VIP ticket packages are available.
Later this summer, the band will return to the Newport Folk Festival on July 29th for their first performance on the main stage of the well-received event, followed by an extensive tour across the country in the fall. Fall highlights include Ohana Fest in Dana Point, CA (September 30), Borderland Music Festival in Buffalo, NY (September 15), and Suwannee Hraween in Live Oak, FL (October 26-30) and Red Rocks Amphitheater, Colorado (October 4-5).
Goose will embark on their first European tour in November. The tour will be an 11-day trip including performances in Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin and London. They will cap off his 2023 with an annual holiday celebration called Goosemass 10, his two night extravaganza at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia (12/8-9).
