San Diego, California
This beautiful Southern California city has always been a hit with travelers and is now a hot topic among solo travelers. From surfing and lounging on the beach to exploring Balboa Park and the world-class San Diego Zoo, there’s more than enough to make a day here.
A walk through Old Town San Diego is also a highlight. San Diego is an expensive destination, but you can still find hostels and budget hotels.

Another expensive but picturesque destination popular with all kinds of travelers is Key West, Florida.
