When you think of fast food, what comes to mind? Hamburgers or chicken sandwiches? Now, when you look at the Hummus Republic menu, throw all that stuff out the window.

So if you’ve never been to a place like this before, it’s not your typical fast food restaurant. Unlike McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A, you can’t drive to the window and order from there. You are not ordering his number one or his number two. I am making my own bowl.
Think of a restaurant like Chipotle. Finally, choose your desired base, protein, toppings and dressing.
That’s one of my favorite things about this place. I’ve been there once when I lived in Montclair and it’s always satisfying because you can make your own bowl.
There’s no official word on when this location will be up and running, but keep an eye out.
