To mark the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninov’s birth and the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s iconic Ninth Symphony, the BPO invites you to soak up the timeless splendor of these masterpieces. Get ready to be transported to the heavens in Holst’s fantastic masterpiece The Planets and be enthralled by the fantastical world of Strauss’ Don Quixote. Mahler’s majestic Resurrection Symphony will conclude this heavenly journey.

The Buffalo AKG Museum of Art and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra have partnered on a free community concert to celebrate the museum’s new space and grand reopening. Following the museum’s expansion development project, Great His Loan comes to life with its first public programme, where you can enjoy a delightful summer evening outdoors while viewing musical theater masterpieces.
