Popular run with USATF-certified scenic route, Fisher-Price playspace and famous post-run party.
Lace up your running shoes and come run with up to 1,000 fellow runners filling the street in front of the Ronald McDonald House on Wednesday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m., the 22nd Annual Ronald McDonald House. Participate in charity activities. (RMHC of WNY) 5K run of WNY.
This prestigious race has been named the 2022 Buffalo News “Runner of the Year” race. The USATF-accredited course takes participants through the scenic Elmwood His Village neighborhood. It starts at the Buffalo Donald McDonald House at 780 West Ferry St.
“The Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY 5K Run has become a beloved tradition and a truly worthwhile mission to ignite the spirit of our community while supporting families in times of need. ,” said WNY RMHC Executive Director Marianne Huber. “We are so excited to offer fun activities for the whole family, including our complimentary Fisher-Price Playspace and our famous post-run party. Event registration fee is $30 per runner and includes a post-run party that includes a custom runner hat and picnic dinner, beverages and live music by the Scott Serrani Band (led by 2021 Buffalo Music Hall of Famer Scott Serrani) It is included. Guests can also join the post-run party for $10 per person.

Registration opens at noon on Wednesday, July 26th. The free Fisher-Price Playspace will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Canisius High School’s Trippi Field West Ferry Entrance. (Ages 8 and under. Must be accompanied by an adult.) Run start time 6:30 pm After-run party 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Awards ceremony will be held after the run.
