Since the new Bar Bill Tavern on Empire Boulevard opened last week, patrons have been lining up daily for the chance to try the restaurant’s famous chicken wings and popular beef-on-wek sandwiches. .
Parking at 1129 Empire Blvd. can be busy on weekends. Customers flooded and dozens of regulars waited an hour or two before being seated. Lines regularly overflowed out of the front door of the tavern, even at lunchtime.
Barville owner Clark Crook said business was “booming,” with lines forming daily.
The 8,300-square-foot restaurant opened Friday, July 7 at the former MacGregor’s Grill and Tap Room location. It’s called “Barville East” because it’s advertised on the tavern’s social media and website.
Bar-Bill has been an East Aurora staple since 1977. This is his third location in Barville and his first bar outside Erie County.
Bar-Bill Tavern is famous for its chicken wings and beef wek sandwiches and attracts patrons from all walks of life, including celebrities like Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
