USRowing is pleased to announce the 53-man roster for the 2023 U19 National Team, which will represent the United States in Paris, France next month.
The 2023 World Under-19 Rowing Championships will be held from 2 to 6 August at the Vers-sur-Marne Marine Stadium in Paris, and in 2024 the Olympic rowing and canoeing/kayaking events and the Paralympic events will be held. Rowing competitions and canoe/kayak competitions are held here.
In the United States, crews will compete in 12 events, including men’s and women’s single sculls, quadruple sculls, pairs, 4 with the vehicle length, 8 events, women’s double sculls and 4 men’s events. The United States will not send boats to Men’s Double Sculls and Women’s Four Sculls.
At the 2022 World Under-19 Rowing Championships in Varese, Italy, the United States won three medals, placing fourth in the World Rowing medal standings and sixth in total medals. The United States set the best time at the Under-19 World Rowing Championships, winning eight women’s events, four women’s conductor events, and eight men’s bronze medals. Nine players will return from the U19s squad in 2022.
The U19 roster includes athletes from 15 states. California is his top with 15 players, while New York is his six.
