Stovall Memorial Children’s Fishing Day July 22nd
Dennis Stovall Memorial Kids Fishing Day is scheduled for July 22 at Boston Town Park from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Southtowns Walleye Association of Western New York State announced bottom. The park is located at 8500 Boston State Road and activities are coordinated at the Lions Shelter behind Boston City Hall.
This event is free to the general public and open to junior anglers ages 15 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There are several learning stations on how to cast, where to fish, how to tie and identify fish. No meals are provided, but feel free to bring your own. Double T Commemorative Photo July 23rd

The Double T Archery at 1120 N. French Road, Amherst will honor past members with its annual Double T Commemorative Photo on July 23rd. Filming takes place from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The fee is $15 per person for him. Children under the age of 10 can be photographed free of charge with a paying adult.

Evans Rod and Gun 3D Archery Shoot
The Evans Rod and Gun Club at 864 Kane Road, Angola will begin filming on Wednesday night, August 2nd. Shooting begins at 4pm and continues until it’s too dark to shoot. The shooting will continue until September 27th. According to club member Jerry Gorsky (698-3008), the 15-target 3D course is designed to make archery shooting fun and enjoyable for all ages, not just first-time shooters. Interested in trying out archery and hitting 3D life size animal targets.
Last year, the club offered a free program for those wanting to learn the basics of archery and basics for beginners. The program was a huge success. Evans will again this year offer the program every Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. No reservation required. If you don’t have equipment, the club will provide it. Filming is open to the public, and children under the age of 12 can be filmed for free.
Barts Cove Walleye Tournament July 29-30
The pollock tournament season is in full swing and the next big event on the competition calendar is the Bart’s Cove Walleye Invitational in Dunkirk July 29-30. This is his two-day event where the top three fish each day compete for total weight. Unlike many other tournaments, there will be no Big Fish Friday as a warm-up to the main event. This is a New York waters only tournament.
The entry fee is $500, according to organizer Mark Moll. There is also a Calcutta option, but you are not required to attend. The minimum size for pollock for this event is 22 inches. Only 9 of his rods are available and the team is limited to 4 of him. Please call the mall at 998-9871 for more information.
I Bird NY Challenge July 22, Rheinstein Woods
People at the Leinstein Woods Conservation and Environmental Education Center at 93 Onolin Drive, DePuy will host the i-Bird New York Challenge on July 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. . Beginners and people with physical difficulties can all participate. .

CF reels and revelry August 4th
The Western New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host a Summer Bash on August 4th with the theme “A Night of Revels and Revelry.” It will be held at The Atrium at Rich’s at 1 Robert Rich Way from 7-9pm. Tickets are $150 for him and $250 for couples.
At the Summer Bash, Bob and Mindy Rich will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards for all their efforts to support CFF, especially for running the popular BassEye Fishing event over the last 20 years. Lewiston’s Waste Technology Services receives a “Commitment to a Cure Award” for supporting and advancing her CF mission through fishing events.
