From Joe Parnis’ Desk: “Joe will be performing several small solo shows in non-traditional, private settings. We have a print shop near Albany, NY: an animal hospital in Pittsburgh, a rooftop in Reno, and a series of backyards and living rooms. Three more events will be added, but that’s all because Joe is hard at work on his new record, which will be out on New West next year.

In honor of Taylor Swift, Les Savvy Fav have announced an Errors Tour, which has so far played mainly in Europe, including dates in England, Portugal, Wales, Spain, Italy and Luxembourg. They are set to play a very intimate New York gig with friend Marnie Stern at the New York Knitting Factory in Baker Falls on August 17, with more dates and new music still to come.

Flatbush Zombies have announced a tour to mark the tenth anniversary of their second mixtape. Better Off DEAD. The trip will visit eight US cities in November and December, starting in San Francisco and ending in Anaheim.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced the return of the “Rise Up NYC” series of eight free hip-hop and R&B concerts in all five boroughs in July and August.

Lanna and Sun June will team up for a US tour this fall, with two shows in New York. Caroline Says will perform at Mercury Lounge on November 4th, and Greg Mendes will perform at Babies All Right on November 5th. There are also shows in Washington DC, Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin and more.
