Sound Healing by Dr. Celine Daley
Come to the Cuban Library on Monday, July 17th at 6:00 PM to experience a sound journey through healing vibrations of Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, drums, flutes, rattles and more. The vibrations and rich overtones of these ancient and modern healing instruments harmonize the body, mind and spirit and restore natural energy balance. Please bring your own mat or other items of your choice (pillows, eye covers, blankets, etc.) for comfort while lying on the floor. We will provide chairs for those who wish to sit. Dr. Celine Daly is a musician, sound healer and also teaches mediation at the Olean Meditation Center. This free program is open to ages 13 to adult and requires registration. Join us for a book talk with local author Sheri Fitzner on Wednesday, July 19th at 6:30pm. Sheri Fitzner is coming to the Cuban Library to discuss her book Worth a Second Look: A Pop Culture Guide to a Spiritual Awakening. Her book is described as a guide to help you find inspiration in what’s at your fingertips. Readers should expect expansion and growth on a soul level and to uncover the deeper meanings behind the movies, cartoons, and music we associate with our youth. Sheri makes the book available for purchase.


Buffalo Bluegrass All-Stars at the Palmer Opera House
Come to the Palmer Opera House to see the Buffalo Bluegrass All-Stars on Saturday, July 22nd at 6:30 PM. Buffalo’s best bluegrass musicians unite in one band! Enjoy an evening of great bluegrass music. A real listener type show with lots of hot instrumentals and beautiful ballads.
