The Western New York Veterans Association will host a PACT review and registration event on Tuesday to help veterans exposed to burns, defoliants, and other toxins access benefits under new federal legislation enacted last year.
The event will be held from 10am to 2pm at the Niagara Falls VA Clinic at 1300 Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls.
Veteran program representatives such as the Veterans Services Center, Veterans Caregiver Support, Buffalo Veterinary Center, Women’s Wellness Clinic, and PACT Act Nurses can help determine health eligibility and coverage benefits under the PACT Act.
By keeping to its promise to address comprehensive toxics, Veterans Health Insurance and Coverage eligibility will be expanded and extended for veterans exposed to toxins while on duty in Vietnam, the Gulf War, and the post-9/11 era. It also compensates survivors.
