Whataburger has 950 stores in 14 states, but none of them serve the hungry crowds of the Las Vegas Strip.
That’s about to change when the burger joint announced it would open its first location in Nevada this fall.
San Antonio-based Whataburger, which continues to expand outside of Texas, made this announcement this week. Of his 950 Whataburger stores, 725 are in Lone Star State.
Not only will the burger hit the Las Vegas Strip this fall, but it will also be served at the giant Whattaburger restaurant.
According to Whataburger, the Las Vegas store will have two floors and will employ more than 200 people.
“As the city that never sleeps and a brand that operates 24/7, it makes sense to bring Wattaburger to the Strip,” said Wattaburger president and CEO Ed Nelson in a statement released by the company.
Whataburger’s 950 stores are open seven days a week, seven days a week.
Whatburger started over 70 years ago and has developed a cult following in part due to its regional appeal.
According to KVVU, Whataburger’s new location on the Las Vegas Strip will be adjacent to Park MGM Las Vegas and the Waldorf Astoria near ARIA Resort & Casino.
